Job Description
Our client is the UK leader in environmental solutions and provides a comprehensive range of waste, water and waste water management services designed to build the circular economy and preserve scarce raw materials. 

In Watford, our client works in partnership with Watford Borough Council to provide waste collection, recycling, street cleaning and maintenance of parks and open spaces. We ensure we maintain the borough’s parks and open spaces to the highest quality standards and we are looking for two Horticultural Apprentices to join our team. 

About the role; 

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Apprentice Administrator to join the our client's team based in Watford. Your principle responsibilities will be to 
  • Answer the Telephone, dealing with all types of enquiries relating to the service
  • Raising purchase orders and placing orders with Suppliers, maintain Purchase Order Log
  • Maintaining Database of employees Training
  • Assisting in Fleet SAP/Tranman update
  • Filing, photocopying, scanning.
  • Take calls, process bookings, payments and correspondence regarding allotments and sports hire
  • Deal with all postal and parcel deliveries and ensure all outbound mail is franked and ready for collection.
  • Trolley Process
  • Maintaining the clinical waste database and preparing weekly collection
  • Data input (tip tickets, graffiti spreadsheet)
  • Manage service e-mail box providing responses to all e-mails received
Qualifications 

Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications · IT Literate/Administration skills 
· Good customer service background. 
· Good communicator and team player 
· Ability to work on own initiative and manage own workload 
· Must be willing to be trained in internal procedures 
· Experience in dealing with excel spreadsheets 
· Practical verbal and numerical skills are important 
· Punctual
