Job Description

Responsible for participating in all the administrative activities of the Groups, Conferences & Events and Reservations Departments. 
  • To champion the collection of prepayments for all groups ensuring that all bookings have guaranteed method of payment prior to arrival 

  • To support GCE Sales Department (Individual Reservations) in clearing daily deposits, and collecting of no show charges. 

  • To liaise with Finance department and update GCE Department on group account stops, credit limits for accounts or any other important information 

  • To action the daily check out of group masters for any Group bookings (both Conference & Events as well as Accommodation only groups) 

  • To support in closing house accounts where a reservations response is required 

  • To attend credit meetings and action any follow up with support of Reservations Manager/GCE Sales Manager 

  • To support the GCE Sales Team with answering phone calls and sending out proposals where required 

  • To support the GCE Sales and DBD in delivering KPI’s, Annual Budget amongst the overall GC&E department.
