Job Description
A well - established client of ours is currently recruiting a Customer Services Assistant to join their Customer Service department.
- Accepting customer orders delivered by email, fax or other means, acknowledging receipt, entering onto system in a timely manner
- Checking all EDI orders have been successfully accepted, resolving any issues or discrepancies
- Communicating to customers anticipated delivery dates and keeping them informed of any changes and of progress
- Ensuring data received by Operations team to enable scheduling of purchases/manufacturing
- Communication of anticipated delivery dates to customers, liaising with Operations and 3PL provider to schedule deliveries
- Liaison with customers on invoice queries, reconciling against order and delivery information to effect payment
- Management of service claims in conjunction with 3rd party ASS/warranty supplier, authorization of service agent visits
- Liaison with customers on any returns, including assessment and authorization of return claims and issue of any credits
The successful candidate will have 5 years customer service experience in a fast moving market. Experience dealing with consumer goods retailers would be beneficial for this role. Excellent communication skills, and strong customer orientation and empathy. Good practical problem solving skills, taking ownership of issues through to resolution.
