Our client is has an opportunity available for a talented individual to join their team; The Reception Business Administrator will be involved in many aspects of the business, which will include general reception duties & administration along with data entry for purchasing order. There is a strong chance that you will be involved in many other aspects of the business offering administrative support when required. You must be computer literate with outstanding communication skills and willing to go the extra mile. You should also be a team player with excellent time management skill and have the ability to work unsupervised and be proactive in getting things completed. This is a role where one day you may be extremely busy and another day you may have free time on your hands. The ideal candidate will be someone who during down times will find ways and means to improve every day duties and look to assist and develop other areas proactively with a willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done. DIMENSIONS AND LIMITS OF AUTHORITY Telephone System Gate Entry Visitor Health & Safety Induction Flight, accommodation and taxi booking Room and Lunch Booking Reception Hygiene General Administrative Support MAIN DUTIES, OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Initial Duties and Responsibilities: Answering calls/messages Receiving, distributing and sending post Booking Travel, Hire Cars & Taxis Run Errands when required Sales order & Purchase order entry Data entry, word processing, spreadsheets, Occasionally creating PowerPoint Presentations Organising lunches for visitors and arranging conference rooms for meetings Inventory of Beverages and Stationary Help out with corporate events. Receiving visitors, suppliers and subcontractors and explaining, issuing PPE H&S requirements. Responsible for cleanliness and tidiness in reception General office duties including scanning, copy & filing Proactive in aiding others Squat/kneel, bend/stoop, Sit for 1 – 7 hours per day. Work in a fast paced industrial environment wearing hearing protection, vision protection, steel-toed shoes and other appropriate protective clothing. Prolonged computer and phone usage may occur from time to time
