Main purpose of job
• Act as primary contact point for all customers and consumers
• Act as overflow contact for all inbound calls and emails channelled through the telephone system
• Work as part of an extended team to assist the Area Sales Managers
• Conduct outbound calling activity as required by the business and instructed by the Team Leaders
• Assist with peak business demand
• Assist in effective communication by participating in team meeting, briefings and one to one sessions
Sales
• Answer inbound sales calls and emails and input order details into the computerised ordering system
• Proactively recognise up-selling opportunities and match potential sales to customer in order to increase revenue
• Proactively recognise cross selling opportunities, using product knowledge to offer similar patterns and designs to customers in order to increase revenue
• Make outbound calls to customers following sample requests in order to close sale or recommend alternative products
Customer Service
• Make outbound customer care calls
• Proactively manage the relationship of all customers
• Ensure all promises are kept to all customers
• Provide feedback on activities as required
• Keep Team Leaders informed of any threat to the achievement of objectives or targets with proposals for their solution
• Act in an empowered way to ensure excellent customer relationship management of all customers, adding value wherever possible
