Key duties and responsibilities of the role

You will be part of the Open Space team and be responsible for the following key deliveries:

• Coordinating tasks, data, plans, and documentation across the Open Space team
• Analysing property and space data in accordance with programme objectives
• Perform data extractions and manipulation through detailed excel analysis
• Drive process improvement where identified and document process
• Develop data collection and analytical tools across all areas of the Open Space programme to improve productivity
• Work with the Open Space team to cleanse data and ensure all data sets are accurate.
• Summarising analysed data into slides and documents which can be used to present to senior management
• Supporting with the planning and delivery stages of the Open Space programme
• Report financial and non-financial KPI's, providing insight into key drivers and highlighting trends and possible action plans.
• Assist with review of the monthly P&L, reviewing GL transactions and provide guidance on required accruals.
• Collaborate with departments within NHSPS to understand and accurately reflect income and costs within the programme.
• Analyse and report promotional activity
• Build collaborative relationships with Finance Teams, and the wider NHSPS Commercial team

Essential Accountability

• Management of core Open Space data portfolio in BAU
• Interpreting data, analysing results using statistical techniques
• Work with the Open Space team to ensure accurate reporting and distribution of information across the business
• Developing and implementing data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies that optimise statistical efficiency and quality
• Coordinating the above across the Open Space team
• Supporting the Performance Manager with any ad hoc data work
• Supporting the Open Space team with day-to-day planning and execution of operational and customer-focused tasks

It requires a data literate person, who has commercial acumen and good stakeholder management skills who will play an important role in delivering the delivery stages and financial status of the Open Space Programme. This role will assist with the setup up of data quality monitoring processes and trackers, identify data quality issues, undertake root-cause analysis, and recommend permanent solutions. It will coordinate and organise tasks recorded in the programme across the project team. It will manage property master records across our Open Space launch properties and support the programme team with data management, project planning, and Horizon-related tasks.
