Your new role
In this Semi Senior Accountant job you will be working as part of a larger team that provides an outsourced accounting service. Your role will primarily be focused towards preparing statutory accounts and preparing other financial reports such as forecasts, profit projections and bench-marking reviews. You will also process transactions, prepare and post journals, carry out bookkeeping duties, management accounts and prepare VAT returns.
What you'll need to succeed
The firm are looking for an individual that has a strong past experience working in an accountancy practice. You must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to ensure you can deliver great client service and liaise with your team accordingly. You will ideally be able to prioritise and manage tasks set effectively and be able to work to tight deadlines. Knowledge of accounting packages such as Sage Line 50, Xero, Quickbooks would be preferred.
