Job Description

You will lead a team of three accountants with two direct reports who will manage routine budget monitoring and business partnering. You will work with the Lead Finance Business partner on the more complex and challenging budget management as well as deliver on key analysis relating to children’s social care provision. This is Excel based costing and scenario based reporting on the cost impact of a variety of options available to the council.

You will also help coordinate the production of annual accounts and subsequent audit for this area.

You must be a fully qualified accountant and free to start before the first week of November. You will have a track record within local government previously, ideally within social care.
