About Our Client

My client is a global professional Logistics company based in West London . They have gone throw a substantial growth period and are seeking a Systems Accountant to come on board and help with a 3-6 month project .

Job Description

The Systems Accountant will be responsible to bring all processes and systems needs up to date. Working along side their parent company to build a contact management system for thousands of customers and suppliers across the business.

The Systems Accountant will also be responsible for migrating data from legacy systems.

Speaking to key stakeholders to find out how the system could perform better, understand what they are doing and project report back to plan what the future should look like as the business continues to expand.

Identifying what the gold standard of customer service looks like - how do we document and manage the system, setting the standard that should be strictly adhered to.

Creating the 'go to handbook' of customer and supplier process and making sure it reconciles with the finance function in the correct way going forward.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Systems Accountant will be;

Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)

Good analytical skills - A lot of testing and working with large volumes of data (Transferring it from one system to another)

Self initiative - Willing to go into the background and have patience to really find out how things work. Transferring and improving the processes - not just the migration of data

A proven track record of challenging processes and suggesting how to improve it moving forward

Strong communication skills are essential, as this role involves working with multiple stakeholders spread across UK and Europe
