Job Description

Our client is an established and growing wholesale business with a wide ranging network of private and institutional clients. They are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Finance professional to operate in a varied generalist capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting the Credit Controller with Accounts Receivable tasks such as sales invoicing, taking payments and allocating receipts.
• Assisting the Junior Management Accountant with the Accounts Payable process including purchase order to invoice reconciliations, registering invoices and making payments.
• Supporting the Financial Controller with internal and external reporting and analysis plus other Finance-related queries and ad hoc tasks as they arise.

Key Skills & Experience required:

• Part Qualified or qualified by experience Accountant with generalist experience
• Experience in both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
• Experience within retail or wholesale industries is highly desirable
• Strong excel skills essential (writing v-lookup and sumif formulae, creating pivot tables, etc) together with strong data analysis skills;
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
