Job Description
My client is a growing media/PR agency based in central London and are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join their Finance team.The Role/Responsibilities
Joining on a temporary basis you will be working closely with the Finance Director and Head of Financial Reporting as the Management Accountant you will be responsible for the timely production of detailed financial and management reporting and analysis, period end accounts and budgeting and forecasting activities.
Key responsibilities:
• Ensure the full preparation, production and review of the monthly management accounts
• Produce, analysis and present the consolidated monthly management accounts
• Have detailed explanations for any positive/negative variances supported by action plans, ready for presentation and challenge from the Finance Director
• Identify and implement improvements to the month end close process and other ongoing reporting processes
• Support operational teams with financial analysis to enhance revenue and control cost
The Ideal Management Accountant
You will have proven experience as a Management Accountant/Finance Manager preferably within the Media/PR based sector. You will need advanced Excel skills including being able to use formulas, pivot tables and vlookups. You will need to be able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication and have strong numeric/mathematical skills.
