My client, a world and market leading promotional technology company experiencing fantastic growth and turnover approaching £100M is recruiting for a Tax Accountant. As Tax Accountant you will report to the Finance Director and support the management of a small but expanding finance team in the UK and growing global business.
THE BUSINESS:
- Privately owned entrepreneurial group with two owners actively involved in the business
- World leader with ambitious growth targets over the next 3 years
- B2B operator working with customers ranging from the smallest schools to the largest multinationals
- Operations positioned across Europe, US, Australia, China, Hong Kong, South Africa and the Philippines
- Offices in lively central London location with around 120 people

THE CLIENT WOULD LIKE THE tax ACCOUNTANT TO:
- Work with the Finance Director to shape strategy of the business by keeping the company up to date on worldwide tax developments
- Bring day to day technical and reporting skills, demonstrate commercial acumen and great interpersonal skills
- Be a qualified tax accountant with meaningful experience
- Have strong knowledge of and prior exposure to US Tax reporting requirements
- Be keen to use their knowledge of both UK and International taxation and legislation
- Have some knowledge of EU and International VAT reporting requirements
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING AS tax ACCOUNTANT:
- Working with management and external Tax Advisers to ensure the group is both tax efficient and tax compliant
- Assist in monthly group reporting, ensuring transfer pricing procedures are adhered to globally
- Global responsibility for transfer pricing policies & strategies
- Manage ad hoc transfer pricing queries and assist the business with transfer pricing compliance
- Supervision of VAT reporting
- Developing, improving and implementing management information KPIs, budget and forecasting tools around tax to allow real-time business decisions
- Managing the relationship with our external Tax Advisers globally, as well as preparing statutory accounts disclosures
- Championing best practice across all tax areas to support business growth
