An ultra-high-end property development and management business are actively seeking a Financial Accountant to account for ongoing billion pound developments.

As Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing both management and financial accounts for ongoing development projects, working with project managers producing regular forecasts and cost analysis to ensure projects costs are in line with budgets.

We are looking for bright qualified accountants with strong academics and proven experience producing management and statutory accounts. You must be confident and effective at communicating as you will be working with all areas of the business.

Key responsibilities include:

• Prepare monthly and annual financial closings and financial statements, including revenue recognition
• Producing budgets and regular forecasts
• Analysis of project costs against budget with commentary on variances
• Drive cost controls to efficiently manage working capital
• Manage and mentor the Accounts Assistant

Candidate requirements:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Strong academics (minimum of 2:1 at University)
• Must have financial accounting experience
• Confident and effective communicators

This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-growth property development business. The business is continuing to grow its portfolio with significant investments. This role will pay an annual salary of £50,000 - £55,000 depending on experience plus bonus and benefits.
