Junior Management Accountant

A global property company that going through huge growth are looking for an ambitious Junior Management Accountant to join the finance team.

The role will involve all aspects of finance within a commercial business; so this would be a perfect opportunity for someone who wants to gain valuable and practical finance and accounts experience and complete their qualification.

The ideal candidate must be part qualified and be actively working towards completing their qualification as well as have general accounts experience / understanding of management accounts.

Key responsibilities for the Junior Management Accountant:

• Learning and producing month end management accounts
• Updating / managing forecasts
• Managing day to day running of bank accounts and journals
• Keeping current system up to date
• Producing self - billing invoices and reports for partners
• Working with external accountants in preparation of VAT returns and annual returns

Requirement for the Junior Management Accountant:

• ACCA / CIMA - part qualified
• Proven experience in a similar role, working within a compliance focussed environment
• Solid understanding of basic accounting concepts, systems and processes.
• Experience of working to timetables and strict procedures
