A dynamic and growing accountancy firm based in the City is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their sociable organisation as soon as possible.

Key responsibilities in this Senior Accountant role will include:

• Year End submission reviews
• VAT submission reviews
• On-boarding to Xero
• Client management accounts
• PAYE registrations
• Preparing account policy documents
• Attending client meetings
• Attending internal meetings
• Mix of onsite client work and head office work

Key skills and experience required in this role include:

• Previous experience as a Book-keeper / Accountant / Financial Controller
• MUST be qualified AAT / ACCA
• 3 years+ post qualification experience plus overall accounts experience
• Client/customer management experience
• Experienced in accounts preparation and statutory submissions
• Experience of Xero and/or Quick Books Enterprise would be desirable
• Pro-active self-starter with the ability to use their initiative
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing and changing priorities
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise at all levels and build successful working relationships
• Accurate and professional with a sense of humour
