Bookkeeper required to join Energy Company based in the West End on an ongoing temp basis paying up to £35k Please only apply if you're immediately available for work Your new company A meticulous immediately available Bookkeeper is needed to join a team of 3 in finance for a growing Energy firm based near Bond Street, The company is going from strength to strength and is growing fast which is why they are looking to recruit a new member of staff in finance. Please only apply to this role if you are immediately available or on short notice. Your new role They are looking to bring on board a talented Bookkeeper who . Ideally you will have 3-4 years experience of bookkeeping and are an AAT/ACCA/ CIMA studier or QBE. They are looking for someone with understanding of VAT legislation, Energy, Property or consultancy exposure would be advantageous. They need someone experienced with working with client accounts and able to work well under pressure, to meet deadlines and within time-constraints. What you'll need to succeed Strong understanding of double entry book-keeping and management accounts skills. As you will be assuming full responsibility for the day to day and monthly accounting, we are looking for a proven Bookkeeper who is prepared to roll up their sleeves and take full ownership of the accounts function, from processing invoices through to closing off the ledgers at month end and producing a trial balance. The company currently use Sage Line 50 and previous experience of this system is highly desirable. Previous experience of Oracle and Quickbooks is also advantageous. You will be working within a small team environment but also independently with sole charge responsibility.
