Job Description
We are seeking an experienced bookkeeper and finance support officer to report directly to the firm’s Marketing and Finance Directors. You will be responsible for producing the monthly management of accounts, maintaining ledgers and the proficient use of Sage Line 50.
Key Requirements:
Proficient use of Sage Line 50
Production of Monthly Management Accounts
Maintenance of Ledgers
Quarterly VAT returns
Monthly Bank Reconciliation
Petty Cash Reconciliation
Production of Sales Invoices and Credit Notes
Credit Checking
Debt Collection & Recovery
2-3 years of bookkeeping experience (desirable, not essential)
This role would ideally suit a candidate with previous book keeping experience with full working knowledge of Sage Line 50 and a good working knowledge of Excel.
Due to retirement of the employee, you must be interested in developing a long-term role in the company and your key strengths will need to include a key eye for detail, strong commercial acumen and numeracy.
The annual salary for this permanent position is £22,000 - £25,000 depending on skills and previous experience. The working hours are 09:00 - 17:15 Monday to Thursday and 09:00 - 17:00 Fridays. Immediate starts are available.
