Job Description

Chris Long is a financially driven entrepreneur who invests, launches and advises new start-up companies across a wide range of industries from online business selling and customizing luxury watches to financial services such as pension advice. Chris is looking for an accomplished bookkeeper with proficient knowledge of Quickbooks. It is imperative that you have at least 2 years of Quickbooks experience in your previous role. The role is split over various companies so you must be confident and proactive taking full responsibility for your role. Remuneration will be dependent on experience. Duties will include but not be limited to; Weekly bookkeeping. Bank, salary & PAYE reconciliations Journal postings Customer & supplier statement reconciliations Preparation of VAT returns Preparation of monthly management accounts Dealing with financial paperwork and filing The ideal candidate will be; Meticulous with attention to detail Excellent communication skills Good analytical skills Strong ability to be proactive and work alone Fully competent to manage workload and complete jobs on time Well organised Must have extensive 2+ years knowledge of Quickbooks AAT/CAT/ICB desirable
