Job Description
What’s in it for you?
- You’re day to day. You’ll guide clients through complex UK and international tax regimes, and help them with everything from the tax compliance process, planning their operational and legal structures, advising on the availability of beneficial tax claims and informing their risk management. We’ll help you learn how to interpret complex legislation, deliver strategic solutions and provide our clients with clear advice and recommendations they can count on. Whichever team you join, you’ll gain hands-on experience, working with a variety of dynamic clients, including organizations in media and entertainment, technology, finance, and the not-for-profit sector.
- Who you’ll be working with. The tax practice is comprised of over 15 different service lines and over 40 partners. A collaborative approach is key to supporting our clients, by drawing on the breadth and depth of experience and resource within the team. You’ll be passionate about understanding the issues that are important to our clients and their businesses. You must be a great relationship builder, be able to work well with others and take ownership of the part you play. You’ll also have the opportunity to help develop others and create an environment where everyone can flourish and achieve their full potential.
- Your personal development plan. Right from the start, you’ll develop a strong internal and external network, working with a diverse range of colleagues and clients across a wide range of sectors. Working closely with your people manager, you will find areas where you can develop, collaborate and communicate more effectively with colleagues and clients at all levels.
- Progress in your career. As well as learning on-the-job, you’ll enjoy a structured training programme, starting with your orientation that will immerse you in our business, vision and purpose. At the end of the programme, you’ll become professionally qualified which will open up a wider variety of career opportunities.
In this programme you’ll study towards becoming ACA (Associate Chartered Accountant) or ATT (Association of Tax Technicians) qualified. Many of our graduates also go on to complete CTA (Chartered Tax Adviser).
