Job Description

As our Student Support Administrator you will be able to provide efficient and dynamic administrative support to the senior management team, including minute taking, reception duties and general clerical duties. You will be responsible for the day to day preparation and organization of relevant documentation to support with transition processes. At key times of the year you will be required to deputies across the admin team and assist with various other tasks. You will be responsible for strict diary management and coordination of initial interview and assessment meetings, link visits and reviews. This role is fulltime term time with 41 working weeks.

Role Specific Responsibilities.

Applications

· Manage initial and ongoing enquiries from parents, students, feeder schools and other advisors/stakeholders

· Co-ordinate initial visit and interview, link visits and offer of place

· Keep track of applications and help collate information relation to all admissions including offer letters, acceptance of place

· Gather information from feeder schools and other sources on perspective students to ensure the support needs are met

· Support the entry of initial student information into the

Bursary

· Send out to all parents/careers and students the application form – supporting completion where needed

· Liaise with Cheshire College South and West to progress applications

· Keep records of eligibility and provide invoicing information to finance team

Co-ordination of review meetings

· Work with the Learner Support Manager to co-ordinate review meetings ensuring compliance with the required timescales and notification of professionals to attend reviews

General Admin

· To be point of contact for the college for staff, students and visitors

· To answer the telephone, operate the switchboard and take/pass on messages as required

· To greet all visitors, signing into site and giving general information on H&S procedures


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You will possess fantastic communication skills and have substantial admin experience, preferably within an educational setting. You will be able to work effectively within a busy diverse team and have excellent time management skills. You should manage pressure well and be able to prioritise workloads and tasks
